Which file types does it open?
Markdown files with the .md, .markdown,
.mdown, and .mkd extensions.
My images aren’t showing — why?
Markdown Better View is sandboxed, so macOS only grants it access to the file you opened. When a document references sibling images in its folder, the app asks for one-time access to that folder; grant it and the images appear. Your choice is remembered securely so you won’t be asked again for that folder.
What are the system requirements?
macOS 15 or later. The app is a universal binary that runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
How do I report a bug?
Email support@markdownbetterview.com with what you were doing, the document if you can share it, and your macOS version. The more detail, the faster we can fix it.
